A carpenter by trade for 23 years before moving into pricing and project management Kerry has been at the helm of the business since 2003. A hands on approach to daily operations means that Kerry has an involvement in all aspects of the business as well as developing future strategic direction and planning.

As past president of the Southland Branch of Registered Master Builders, Kerry has a keen interest in the building and construction industry at a national level and after taking on a role within the regional executive was invite to join a national working party guiding the Master Builders Organisation through a nationwide restructure.

Now as a current director on the National Board of Registered Master Builders, as well as a past National President he remains proud and passionate about construction in the South and all the on-going opportunities it has to offer.

Damian McKay
Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager

Also a vastly experienced, qualified carpenter Damian has worked both in New Zealand and throughout the UK. 

He moved from carpentry to Quantity Surveying in 2007 and is a member of NZIQS with experience in both residential and large commercial construction.

Damian leads the team at Archers when it comes to pricing and his many long-lasting work associations allow him to capitalise on the loyalty and superior quality of many of Southlands best suppliers and subcontractors.  This coupled with his strength in project management means  Damian’s experience and expertise in seeing a job through from pricing to completion is invaluable.

Matt McLaren
Designer/Project Manager

Joining Archer Construction in 2017 Matt has a diverse background in sales, design and building, and brings a fresh approach to these areas.

Looking after much of our client liaison particularly within our Rapid Rooms Portable Building division, Matt takes care of these projects from conception to completion. He has a great strength and skill in offering clients unique building and design solutions to meet specific requirements.

Matt also takes care of any residential design concepts and contributes to the project management of our commercial projects.
